We're renting a three-bedroom house on
Big Pine Key, about 30 miles from Key West. It's on a canal so our boating friends can come right up to the back door. Big Pine Key is a nature preserve for the Key Deer, miniature deer that aren't found anywhere else in the world. The next island over is Bahia Honda, the state park with lovely beaches and snorkling. No Name Pub, a Hemingway hangout known for its pizza, is closeby. Our island also has a Winn Dixie and a Methodist Church. What else could we want?
